HOW IT ALL STARTED
In the ever-evolving landscape of technology, our journey with Greenink.pro began as a response to a critical issue that caught Vivek's attention. A glaring gap existed between what students were learning in academic institutions and what the dynamic IT industry demanded, usually its helpless situation when graduates reach out seeking employment. Fueled by his own early challenges and a genuine desire to giveback, while working at Apple, he initiated a mentorship program in 2020, "Claygreen buddy" over LinkedIn.
Initially, the mentorship program aimed to assist students & young SRE professionals in honing their skills and habits. Slowly the community grown over multiple batches and the students cracking their dream career. Then in our free time over the Covid pandemic remote-working, we stablished the model in a couple of Engineering colleges in Kerala. By end of 2022, Vivek left his fulltime job & decided to focus in his mission for establishing Claygreen Foundation for non-profit, relocated to his native.
In mid-2023, Adv. Sajeev Joseph MLA appointed Vivek as the IT coordinator at Irikkur Innovation and Incubation Center (IIIC), and kickstarted their first IT internship program spanning for 3 months. However, as we delved deeper, it became apparent that short mentorships were insufficient, especially for the students in the rural areas. Recognizing the need for a more comprehensive approach, the program evolved to longer periods. Under Claygreen, we started collaborating with Engineering colleges & polytechnics, forming batches. As the community grew, another challenge emerged – educators in schools and colleges lacked sufficient knowledge about real-world industry ecosystem, leaving campus students with very limited exposure. This realization fueled the formation for Greenink.pro as a business focused in coaching & consulting.
Our vison is clear – to reduce the divide between academia and industry, equipping individuals with skills aligned with industry needs, promoting community involvement, and adapting to evolving industry trends, contributing to organisational growth by quality consulting. The goal is nothing short of revolutionizing the IT industry through our premium coaching-consulting sevices and thereby producing highly qualified professionals poised for mutual success.
In short, this journey began modestly in 2020 with "Claygreen buddy" as community giveback. Over time, Greenink.pro was founded for revenue generation, expanded its horizons to offer online courses and startup advice with premium consulting. Collaborating with colleges & orgs, we provide hands-on training both online and in-person, ensuring a holistic approach to upskilling. From a small effort on volunteering in 2020, Greenink.pro has blossomed into a significant force in 2024, making a tangible impact by helping individuals learn and succeed in tech. In just three years, our alumni have achieved remarkable success in top companies, their careers soaring to new heights with multiplied benefits.
