Claygreen Buddy, initiated on September 9, 2023, under the placement cell of GCE Kannur which was coordinated by Abel K Raju, marked a transformative journey for students at Gcek. Vivek, Ameen, and Vishnu brought forth the concept of Claygreen as a novel approach to learning through collaboration. The event not only offered insights into post-graduation industry expectations but also emphasized becoming better-suited professionals. Following a meticulous selection process, dynamic and committed students were paired as buddies and formed 21 super Admins.
Under Vivek's mentorship, a routine was established, fostering a sense of camaraderie as groups woke up at 5 am to support each other. With 21 individuals forming seven groups, subjects like scrum process, OS, networking, Python, and cloud were assigned over seven days. Vivek provided guidance via daily Zoom meetings, setting a roadmap for learning. The scrum process team organized stand-ups, overseen by seniors Ramdev and Those who were not following or failing to commit was removed from the group as we follow merit based system. Unfortunately, due to student requests amid exams and university projects, the system was temporarily paused.
